Only in America

Some idiot has filed a lawsuit against Apple because he claims that the iPod causes hearing loss.

See, most of us learned this when we were about four. If you turn the music up too loud, you will go deaf. That simple.

But of course it's Apple's fault for making a device that can play music that loud. How DARE they! It's definitely NOT an issue of personal responsibility here, right?

Oh and a question for the Seattle Seahawks.....

DO YOU GUYS HAVE SOMETHING WRITTEN IN YOUR PLAYBOOK THAT JUST SAYS "CHOKE?????????????" WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I'd say the refs played a bit of a part in the outcome of the game yesterday. The "pass-interference" call on the first Hawks touchdown was bogus, and I think the holding call on the pass to the 1 in the second half was questionable as well. Both of those would have almost certainly guaranteed another 12 points for Seattle, which quite clearly would have helped us to victory.

But we should have played better regardless, and should have taken advantage anyway of the fact that Roethlisberger was drunk. Steelers didn't need a 5th Superbowl victory. Seattle needed their first.

Okay, enough football and more German-Jewish turn of the century literature...

they didn't choke! Look at the stats and they waaaay outplayed Pitsburg. The steelers had a few extra players on their side, namely the refs.

HEY! be nice. neither team played their game in that game. anyway, the hawks couldn't make 20 flipping yards without it being called back as some kind of ridiculous penalty

like, how hasselbecks TACKLE got a an illegal BLOCK penalty...

and how that first TD by the steelers was NOWHERE NEAR the line.

i'm going to agree with mike holmgren here, and say that "we knew it was going to be a tough game against the steelers...we didn't know we were going to have to play against the refs too."
go mike.

hawks, way to keep your heads up.
